Mr. Mangia completed his studies in Milan, graduating in 1998 at Università Statale in Milan with a thesis on Comparative Procedural Criminal Law, titled “Privilege against self-incrimination – Right to silence in Italy and in the United States of America”.
After graduating, in 1999, he carried out a professional collaboration with the Pavia&Harcourt in New York.
Already in 1996, he started his collaboration with Mr. Guido Carlo Alleva, of whom he had been pupil and with whom he carried out the legal practice.
In 2001 he passed the Bar and joined the Milan Lawyers Association.
In 2007 he was appointed partner of Alleva & Associates Law Firm, which became a professional association in 2006.
In 2013 he was admitted to the bar of the Italian Supreme Court.
In his professional career, Mr. Mangia has acquired specific competence in Economical Criminal Law, Environmental, Tax, Banking and Financial Criminal Law, specializing in Business, Finance and Industrial Criminal Law, as well as in Public Administration related issues.
He was, and still is, appointed counsel and defense attorney in major criminal proceedings, assisting administrators, officials, managers, entrepreneurs, Italian and international companies and banks in publicly known trials.
Author of various lectures and publications in juridical subjects, he is routinely invited as speaker in technical and scientific conferences.
